On June 7, 2024, HoYoverse conducted the official Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 livestream. Here is everything you need to know about the banners, end-game content, events, and more in the upcoming update.

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 is the final patch featuring Penacony for the time being. Therefore, fans are hyped as they are hoping that this region will close its doors with a blaze of glory.

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 release date

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 will be released on June 18, 2024.

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 story

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 will feature the new Trailblaze mission Farewell, Penacony. In this, the Trailblazers will get involved in a brand new crisis in Penacony featuring Firefly, Sparkle, Jade, and other important characters.

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 will feature two new units accompanied by reruns for two old units. Here are the banners across both phases of the upcoming update:

Phase 1

• Firefly (5-star, Fire, Destruction)
• Ruan Mei (5-star, Ice, Harmony)
• Gallagher (4-star, Fire, Abundance)
• Misha (4-star, Ice, Destruction)
• Xueyi (4-star, Quantum, Destruction)

Phase 2

• Jade (5-star, Quantum, Erudition)
• Argenti (5-star, Physical, Erudition)
• Serval (4-star, Lightning, Erudition)
• Natasha (4-star, Physical, Abundance)
• Asta (4-star, Fire, Harmony)

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 new end-game content

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 will have two new end-game content:

Divergent Universe

This is a brand new version of the Simulated Universe which is expected to make farming a lot easier. In this mode, players can select any character they want irrespective of their levels. If a character is level 1, it will be scaled to the level cap of the Divergent Universe with trial Light Cones and Relics.

In Divergent Universe, players can restart bosses in case they wipe and even change the lineup without requiring to restart it. Finally, there is a new function called Planar Ornament Extraction. Players can save the data and buffs from previous runs and they can just challenge the boss to receive the rewards.

Apocalyptic Shadow

In this mode, players can challenge bosses from past encounters. You can check the buffs on the boss and there are four difficulty levels in total. You will get rewards such as Stellar Jades, Self-Modelling Resin and more. This mode will rotate alongside Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction.

Finally, the total Stellar Jades from all end-game modes namely Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow has been increased to 800.

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 new Planar Ornament

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 will feature brand new Planar Ornaments:

• Iron Cavalry Against the Scourge: This Relic set is suitable for Break and Super Break DPS units.
• The Wind Soaring Valorous: Suitable for characters who deal damage through follow-up attacks and Ultimate.

These Relics are very good for Harmony Trailblazer, Firefly, and Jade.

Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 events

The events of Honkai Star Rail version 2.3 events are as follows:

• Stellar Shimmer: Stellar Shimmer will bring players with new mechanisms and character trial lineups. Challenge enemies to earn Stellar Jades and other rewards.
• Origami Bird Clash: Take part in activities to increase the power of Origami Birds to fight your opponent. Defeat your friends to earn lots of rewards in this event.
• Gift of Odyssey: Recieve 10 free Star Rail Special Passes after logging in for 7 days.
