FARMINGTON, Utah — Utah’s 136-year-old amusement park announced the name of its newest attraction, “Primordial,” and listed prices for the upcoming season.

Lagoon announced the new attraction with a video on their social media pages.

According to the post, Primordial is an “interactive coaster,” seven years in the making and is set to open in 2023.

“Lagoon has worked with an international team of designers and manufacturers, including amazing local companies and vendors, to create and produce this incredible state-of-the-art attraction.

Primordial has been engineered to accommodate riders at 36” in height. Riders under 48” must be accompanied by a supervising companion.”

As for prices, it appears the theme park is another victim of inflation as prices have increased to $97.95 for a day pass compared to $85.95 last season.

The park is offering Black Friday deals for season passports available from Nov. 16-30.

Black Friday Season Passport Price:

$160.95

Regular Season Passport Price:

$207.95

However, these prices are available online only and are price plus tax, each.
